For the most part, the narrative unfolds from the third-person limited point of view from the perspective of protagonist Mitchell Zukor. The exception to this main point of view is the book’s prologue-like first section, “Brugada,” which is told from the first person point of view of one of Mitchell’s college classmates, a character who is likely the journalist referred to late in the book as being interested in writing a biography of Mitchell.
